PLAY DEZYSTRONG
Every day is a great day. A day we can appreciate all the things that we GET to do. When Dezy was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer he embodied the “We Get To” outlook and realized of how important it is to have a strong mind and a strong body.
He made it his mission to help as many people as possible to live everyday with the same outlook. Athletics was a huge part of Dezy’s life and he wanted to help his fellow athletes remember to never take a single day for granted that they get to play sports.
A PROGRAM FOR ATHLETICS
Today, the DezyStrong Foundation carries on Dezy’s legacy with athletics through the Play DezyStrong program. Through this program, teach your athletes what it means to be DezyStrong while supporting his Foundation. To participate in this program:
Purchase 1 shirt for every player and/or coach (through a special group rate for this program only)
Have your team participate in a DezyStrong Fundraiser (any fundraiser that works best for your team)
Share a team picture in your special Play DezyStrong shirts
Talk to your team about what it means to be DezyStrong!
Teach your athletes to play the DezyStrong way - With a strong mind, a strong body, and an appreciation of how fortunate they are that they GET to be a part of something special.
